DRIVER PACKET

JZILLA TRACK DAYS - PREHEAT THE PETIT 2023

ROAD ATLANTA, september 16-17, 2023

Welcome to Jzilla Track Days PREHEAT THE PETIT

Powered by Hawk Performance at Road Atlanta!

Please read this packet CAREFULLY, it will contain links to valuable information, procedures, and forms to help you have a smooth day. It would benefit sharing this page with guests you intend to bring.

If you have been directed here by SpeedWaiver, your email address has been verified. We are implementing electronic waivers to enhance our guest experience, this will replace the physical waiver signed at Check-In and MUST be completed before you may participate. This is not to be mistaken for the waiver Road Atlanta requires before you enter. ALL PARTICIPANTS (drivers, passengers, crew, etc) ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO COMPLETE THE WAIVER BEFORE SEPTEMBER 15TH.

DRIVERS WHO DO NOT SIGN THE WAIVER BEFORE CHECK-IN WILL WAIT UNTIL WE ASSIST THOSE WHO ARE PREPARED.

ENTERING ROAD ATLANTA:

Please follow this procedure when you arrive at the track and refer to the INTERACTIVE MAP for locations.

  1. Enter through main gates.

  2. Wristbands will be handed out at the main gate.

  3. Proceed through the front gate and take a left to go to the support paddock.

  4. Arrive earlier than usual, prepare for extra time to enter the track.

CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS:

  1. A completed and signed 2023 Jzilla Track Days Tech Sheet. It is important that you have the Tech Sheet completed prior to the event. If you need to be provided a Tech Sheet on the day of the event, you will be required to make a donation to one of the charities that Jzilla supports.

  2. An SA2015 or newer helmet. Discovery Parts and Bridgemoto will be on-site with rental helmets and other equipment for purchase.

  3. A valid drivers license that corresponds with your Tech Sheet information.

  4. Completed the e-waiver process mentioned above.

Any driver without these items at Check-In will be asked to to step aside while we attend to those who are prepared. This will likely result in forfeiture of track time. No passenger wristbands will be issued until AFTER morning Check-In has completed to allow our staff to focus on the drivers.

JZILLA 2023 TECH SHEET

HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR TECH SHEET

We prioritize all our participants safety as our primary objective. This tech sheet is a legal document that must be filled out correctly, the form linked above will be the only version we accept. Please take the time to complete and sign all required areas on this form BEFORE you arrive at the track. This Tech Sheet must be completed by a competent technician, person, or shop and signed. You may self-tech, but if you aren't comfortable performing this inspection yourself, we highly recommend these businesses for Tech Inspection, but you may use a shop of your choice.

CHECK-IN PROCEDURE:

You will first be greeted by Jzilla Staff. Present them the SA2015 (or newer) sticker in or on your helmet. They will not handle your equipment physically. You will be issued a Jzilla 2023 helmet sticker to be placed on the LEFT side of the helmet. The pre-inspection team will also verify that you have the required items outlined above.

We will be running two Check-In stations at the Chalet. If you have not completed the required e-waiver at this time, we will direct you to a kiosk where you can complete that process.

Approach the Check-in staff member, please hand your license and Tech Sheet to the staff member for verification. After you have been verified, place your Tech Sheet in the storage box nearby. The staff member will record your attendance and issue an envelope containing your credentials:

  • Run Group Decal - affix this decal on the left corner of your windshield, prominently visible for Grid workers to see approaching the driver side of your car.

  • Wristband(s) - please wear your wristband(s) on your LEFT wrist. You will be required to show your wristband to Grid workers before you are allowed to enter the track. Passengers must also show their wristband at this time, too.

  • Additional promotional items may be found in the envelope.

You are responsible for your credentials. Wristbands must be worn at all times. Participants attending both days only need to Check-In once, but must retain their credentials for BOTH days. If you need a replacement, please bring the damaged materials to our staff.

Passenger wristbands may be attained AFTER the morning Check-In (9 AM) so we can assist the Drivers first.

Run Group changes may be addressed AFTER Check-In is complete. Drivers will run in the group they have been vetted for. Moving up a Run Group requires a sign-off by a Jzilla Track Days Instructor. Requests for moving or changing your Run Group must go through Jzilla Track Days Lead Instructors and may not be possible due to overcrowding and safety concerns. We will do our best to accommodate requests. We limit our Run Group sizes to maximize our participants’ experience and enjoyment. Road Atlanta and Jzilla Safety personnel are the best in the business, but sometimes they won’t catch everything. We request that any dangerous behavior be brought to the attention of Jzilla Staff immediately.

COVID-19 REQUIREMENTS:
